Compressed Gas Systems Inspection

Our comprehensive on-site inspection service ensures the utmost safety and efficiency of compressed gas systems.

DAILY OPERATOR CHECK FOR OXY-GAS EQUIPMENT

BLOWPIPES AND TORCHES

  • Is the blowpipe/torch in date?
  • Is the blowpipe/torch damaged or crushed?
  • Are the control knobs damaged or bent?
  • Is the cutting lever damaged or bent?
  • Is the correct nozzle fitted to the blowpipe/torch?

REGULATORS

  • Is the regulator in date?
  • Is the regulator marked with the correct gas type?
  • Is the regulator damaged?
  • Is the pressure adjusting screw damaged or bent?
  • Are the glass covers and back plates intact on the gauges?

FLASHBACK ARRESTORS

  • Is the flashback arrestor in date?
  • Is the flashback arrestor marked with the correct gas type?
  • Is the flashback arrestor damaged?
  • Is the resettable lever (where applicable) damaged or bent?

FITTED HOSE

  • Are the hoses in date?
  • Are the inlet/outlet fittings of the correct type and fastened with the approved fixings?
  • Have any unauthorized repairs been carried out?
  • Are the hoses damaged or burnt?
